Does anyone under the age of 70 actually own one of these?

Yep, I've got a buddy in his 20s who has one. But he inherited it from his mom.

No. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't.

The whole thing that spurred this post was when I was out to lunch today I saw a 380 SL that looked like it'd just rolled off the showroom floor, with an old man driving it. And then I got to thinking, I've never seen one of these cars being driven by anyone that wasn't old enough to be somebody's grandfather.

Not that I've ever seen. Also, IMO, ugliest SL ever.

One of my friends had one when he was 16... This was about 4 years ago. Now he has an '80s 6er.
EDIT: Granted, we always joke that he's an 80 year old man in a teenagers body. He's always in bed by 8:30, drinks Arnold Palmers, and plays golf...

I'm often in bed by 8:30, but I'm not sleeping. ;)
And by that I mean we're usually watching TV.

People over the age of 70 can generally afford to properly maintain them.
